@CbsNews a piano piece must have sung words to be a song.  Was there no sound recording technology available until now, like older acetate or newer MP3?  Could no one write the notes, even in alphabetic or country music shorthand? Get a #ClassicalMusic expert, unlike @Jeopardy.
